Original Painting By Kelli Bickman

5' X 7' Acrylic On Canvas

Vajrayogini is a Tibetan Buddhist deity who purifies karma, destroy negativity and pacify outer obstacles. It is said that Vajrayogini can transform all mundane experiences into higher spiritual paths.   She is red because she is drinking the pain of female kind and then transforming it into enlightenment.  The original image was painted in the West Village of NYC in 2005 and shows the deity surrounded by buildings, thus she is titled 'The Trauma Goddess in Manhattan'.
